Baule Cushion
These traditional brightly pattern fabrics originate from the Ivory Coast. The yarn is hand spun, dye with mineral and vegetable dyes and left to dry in the sun. The narrow strips woven by the weaver are then sewn together to create larger cloths. Traditionally the fabric was worn as adornment during communal ceremonies and proceedings.
